National Formosa University (NFU) held the "2025 National University and High School Student Project Competition and Exhibition" on Thursday, November 20. The event attracted teams from 35 schools nationwide, with 90 shortlisted projects competing on the same stage, showcasing the limitless creativity and practical skills of young students.

In line with NFU’s 45th anniversary theme, "Roaring Excellence, Smart Innovation for the Future," the competition encouraged students to combine innovative thinking with cross-disciplinary applications, highlighting achievements in smart technology and demonstrating the potential of young talents. The competition was divided into four main categories: Engineering, Electronics & AI Applications, Arts & Sciences, and Management, with evaluation conducted separately for high school, undergraduate, and graduate groups.

The event was vibrant, with participating teams presenting their projects to judges and the audience. Projects ranged from automated robotic arms and AI image recognition systems to creative food proposals and sustainable design works, fully demonstrating students’ ability to integrate problem observation with technical implementation. Judges evaluated the projects through written reviews, on-site presentations, and interactive Q&A sessions, assessing creativity, technical depth, and practical application.

NFU President Chang Hsin-Liang stated that the project competition is not only a platform for students to showcase their learning achievements but also encourages them to identify needs in daily life, apply creativity, and implement technology through practice. He emphasized that the cross-disciplinary communication and professional skills gained through teamwork provide a solid foundation for students to succeed in the workplace and contribute to society.
