On Saturday, September 13th, National Formosa University (NFU) held its first overseas "Wan-Long Business Lecture" in Thailand, titled "Transnational Youth Entrepreneurship Forum." Together with the Thai-Taiwan Business Association Junior Chapter, the event invited Komsan Saelee (李發順), Founder and CEO of Flash Express Group, to share his entrepreneurial experience, transmitting innovative thinking and practical strategies to young entrepreneurs. The event also featured speeches by Ambassador Hsieh-Li Lan of the Taiwan Representative Office in Thailand, Jack Huang (黃啟碩), President of the Thai-Taiwan Business Association Junior Chapter, and Chang Yi-Pin (張逸品), Section Chief of the Public Affairs Division, Secretariat, at NFU. The forum was moderated by the Deputy Representative of the Taiwan Representative Office in Thailand, Tung Szu-Chi (董思齊), who conducted an exclusive interview and Q&A session with CEO Komsan Saelee.

Distinguished guests present included Ms. Chang Ling-Chin (張玲琴), Chairperson of the Thai-Taiwan Association; Chen Han-Chuan (陳漢川), President of the Thai-Taiwan Business Association; Kuo Hsiu-Min (郭修敏), Honorary President for Life; Chang Ai-Ling (張艾玲), President of the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women in Thailand, and many other overseas Chinese leaders. Over 200 Taiwanese and Thai young entrepreneurs, investors, and Taiwanese business people in Thailand gathered to witness this grand exchange event.

CEO Komsan Saelee founded Flash Express in 2017. It is the first unicorn company in Thailand. Amidst the rapid rise of the Thai e-commerce market, relying on a forward-looking vision and flexible strategy, it only took three years to leap to the second largest express delivery market in Thailand, handling over a million packages daily on average, with a next-day delivery rate of up to 97%. The business has now expanded to warehousing, customs clearance, packaging, and financial services, gradually forming a complete one-stop logistics ecosystem.

This was the first time the NFU Wan-Long Business Lecture was held overseas. Chang Yi-Pin, Section Chief of the Public Affairs Division, Secretariat, stated that the forum theme, "Unicorn," symbolizes the innovative spirit of breaking boundaries and reshaping industries. This spirit is consistent with NFU's educational mission; from cross-disciplinary to transnational cooperation, the university looks forward to cultivating more positive, proactive young practitioners who promote industrial upgrading.

Chang Yi-Pin pointed out that NFU will continue to act as a co-participant in transnational innovation forces, helping to link Taiwan's technical capabilities with Thailand and the emerging ASEAN markets for further cooperation. He particularly thanked the Junior Chapter of the Thai-Taiwan Business Association for co-organizing and the "Thai-Taiwan Journal" team led by Chairperson Chang Ling-Chin for participating in the event.
