Position Title

Training Center Technician

Job Responsibilities

1. Serve as a practical skills assistant at the Aviation Maintenance Training Center and assist in preparing practical teaching materials and tools.

2. Manage facilities and related equipment procurement and maintenance at the Aviation Maintenance Training Center.

3. Handle warehouse management and related operations at the Aviation Maintenance Training Center.

4. Other temporary assignments as requested.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least one year of industry experience in aviation, mechanical, electronic, or engineering fields.

2. Three-year, two-year, or five-year college degree (or higher) with at least three years of industry experience in aviation, mechanical, electronic, or engineering fields.

3. Professional certifications are preferred:

CAA cat. B1 / B2 / Repair-man, EASA cat. B1 / B2, FAA A&P certificates, or other equivalent certifications recognized by the center's quality manager.

4. Applicants must not be the spouse or within three degrees of kinship of the university president or hiring unit supervisors.

5. Applicants with disabilities or indigenous status preferred.
